We had one of the most challenging positioning projects in pharmaceuticals when Veeremedies brought us on board for their SEO. Most of the pharma companies we work with deal with one specific product category of drugs. The SEO strategy had to be structured very differently as compared to traditional companies in the pharma domain because with this kind of variety across a brand, you could easily lose SEO authority if not handled with extreme care.Challenges:

  • Absolutely no vertical-specific pages that focus on each vertical’s individual franchise queries
  • Absolutely no coordination between sub-brands and vertical-based divisions.
  • Extremely critical security vulnerability – a compromised wp-login which would obviously have a very bad effect on their SEO and website security.
  • Very low topical authority on all the product verticals.
  • Very little visibility for the human and veterinary franchise-related keywords.

Our SEO strategy

We created highly optimized individual pages for all five verticals; coordinated their SEO efforts across the three sub-brands simultaneously, while building and managing one overall franchise landing page, which helped to consolidate the authority and generate conversions. The backlinks were strategically acquired through pharmaceutical directories, healthcare guest posts and high-authority pharma franchise-based websites. We addressed the security vulnerability and fixed it.

Results obtained:

  • 2,800+ organic monthly visits transformed into over 18,000+ organic monthly visits
  • The ranking of pages across all 5 verticals improved significantly
  • An independent visibility was established for all 3 sub-brands, i.e., Oidrac, Mediganza and Opdenas
  • The franchise inquiries pipeline grew across all pan-India markets
  • Security vulnerability was addressed and fixed for improved safety and continued SEO performance
